HPPSC Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates have to ace the following tests in order to qualify for the HPPSC exam 2023:

  • Prelims
  • Mains
  • Personality Test

Prelims Exam Pattern

The prelims exam is the first step in the selection process of the HPPSC exam. The detailed HPPSC prelims exam pattern is provided in the table below.

  • It has two sections.
  • There are 200 questions.
  • The total marks is 200.
  • Each paper is for two hours.
  • There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Mains Exam Pattern

The HPPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2023 is given below for the candidates’ reference. Some of the features are:

  • There will be a choice of optional subjects for the candidates.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.
