Bihar Diwas 22nd March : Formation Day of Bihar
Bihar is going to celebrate 109th Bihar Diwas on 22nd March 2021 which is observed every year on 22nd March(Formation day of Bihar).The cities would wear the festive look for three days.
It was first celebrated in year 2010 in the tenure of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with a lot of events and programs to restore the pride of Bihar in the hearts of the state people and enthuse them with the proud feeling of being a Bihari.

Let us know about Bihar and its special occasion ‘Bihar Diwas‘ :
1) Bihar Diwas is observed on 22nd March every year that marks the formation of the state of Bihar and It was the day when British carved out Bihar from Bengal presidency in 1912.
2) Orissa also became another state as part of this break-up.
3) Thomas Gibson Carmichael who was the new governor of Bengal took charge on March 21,1912 and announced that from the next day,March 22,The Bengal Presidency will split into four subhas of Bengal,Orissa,Bihar and Assam.
4) Bihar is going to celebrate 109th Bihar Diwas on 22nd March 2021.
5) Every year the Government of Bihar declares this day(22nd March) as a public holiday that applies to all offices,companies and schools coming under the central and state government.
6) It is not just celebrated in Bihar but also in countries like Australia,Canada,UAE,Mauritius,Britain & Trinidad.
