Abel Prize 2022 | List of All Abel Prize Winners (2003-2022) PDF Download
The Abel Prize is awarded annually to outstanding international mathematicians which is named after the Norwegian mathematician Niels Henrik Abel.
The Abel prize was established by the Norwegian Government in 2002, and is managed by The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.
The first Abel prize was awarded to Jean Pierre Serre in year 2003 for playing a key role in shaping the modern form of many parts of mathematics, including topology, algebraic geometry and number theory.Recently the prize was awarded to Dennis Parnell Sullivan for his key contributions in developing a new way of understanding rational homotopy theory, a subfield of algebraic topology.
